Sizable Designs Rotating Breech 40mm Airsoft Launcher (RB40) MK3.

After months of development and design improvements, this is the refined version of the RB40 MK3.

I started this project wanting to build a launcher that could handle all types of 40mm Airsoft shells: CO2, Green Gas, Propane, HPA, and  Taginn shells. Go to my socials linked below for videos of the launcher firing.

This led me to create a robust design using a rotating breech for easy reloading. Along with designing a firing system that uses a steel firing pin with an impact damper.

*Important Information*

This launcher is compatible with a large variety of airsoft 40mm shells. Including 40mm multi-purpose rounds "Green Gas, C02", Taginn, Shower shells, and more.

Due to the various shell outer diameters, some may require shimming with tape to fit snugly in the breech.

I have designed an adapter for 40mm multi-purpose shells to fire foam stomp rockets, along with my own designed mini rubber rockets. Giving options for a cheap alternative for people who want to launch foam rockets. This will require muzzle loading similar to a spigot launcher. With my testing, these travel accurately 130+ feet.

I also have a barrel insert you can purchase separately that allows firing 2" Tennis balls/Foam Stress-balls. For best results, use CO2 40mm multi-purpose shells. These can fire upwards of 120". If you purchase the launcher and adapter together, I will install it before shipping.

The triggers of this launcher are reinforced with a 3mm steel rod and are printed with a higher-impact-rated filament. But I still consider the triggers a "consumable" part, especially if you are using Taginn C02 shells. Due to the fact that they have a rather unpredictable amount of back recoil on the firing pin. During my testing, the reinforced triggers withstood 160 heavy blows from a framing hammer before failing. I will have the trigger for sale for replacement. They will require some fitting to ensure accurate firing pin placement. I will have a video explaining the process, which should take less than 10 minutes. If you are using green gas shells, the reinforced trigger should last significantly longer, if not indefinitely. I know of several customers who are only using Taginn with the launchers and haven't had a trigger issue. 

The launcher will ship in two parts, requiring you to reinstall 2 screws that secure the rear of the launcher.

The weakest point of the launcher is the breech.

Please treat accordingly. I have designed it to be as robust as possible whilst keeping the tactical look. Avoid sudden drops onto concrete or hard surfaces.
